Popular business man and show promoter, Pascal Chubuike Okechukwu aka Cubana Chiefpriest is campaigning for the release of his friend and boss, Obi Cubana.

On Monday, the Abuja-based businessman arrived at the EFCC headquarters at Jabi, Abuja,  where he was interrogated by operatives of the commission.

Although the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is yet to release a statement on the cause of his arrest, a source disclosed that Obi was arrested for money laundering and tax fraud.

Reacting to the news, Cubana Chiefpriest took to his social media handle on popular social media, Instagram, to support his friend.

He wrote;

“What Doesn’t Kill Us Makes Us Stronger, We Igbo’s Re Used To This, Mbakala Ga Ama Ozo Mana Ozo Ga Ala. #FreeObiCubana”

Cubana Chiefpriest is not the online celebrity that has called for the release of Obi Cubana, popular Nigerian singer, Davido also did.
